Hi, 

2nd year going but first time driving. I've seen which route to take via the website however what is the best time to leave the house? Google reckons just over 2 hours from Swansea, I know traffic will be heavy but was thinking 4-5am wondering if il get any benefit leaving earlier?

Leaving at 5 you should miss most of the traffic on the M4 & M5. You may get a bit of a queue to get in the car parks but it has not been too much of an issue on the Weds AM since they began opening the car parks on the Tuesday night. I would say you will be in the queue for the gates by 8 at the latest!
