Adele tickets question

justperfect

Recommended Posts

Ok, quick question I'd like to get a different opinion on

I bought my partner and her mate tickets for Adele’s UK tour (manchester). My name is on the tickets and both the venue and see tickets are saying entry will be refused unless the ticket holder who's name is printed is there om the night. I work away during the week so impossible to get back.

Is this practice even legal?

Any thing you recommend I can do?

You could give your partner loads of non photo ID. Then when she's questioned about not being male she can kick up a fuss about being transgender and actually having proof to show that she takes his identity seriously enough to have had her name changed. She can threaten to go to the media about how anti trans gender the venue is etc.

Or she could just show a little too much of her baps on the way in and the bouncers will be too busy drooling to even notice that it's a male's name on the ticket(s).

Yeah depends if they are taking it seriously or not, Radiohead and I think Arctic Monkeys have actually took it seriously on the door I think (and another show at Wembley arena, maybe QoTSA) and you won't know until the first shows I suppose.

I'd write to Seetickets, I am sure a letter with the card used to book would clear it up and they would have a way around it, without letting the touts in.

Was your name automatically put on all tickets as your card was used? If that's the case they would probably just want to match the tickets with the card if anything at all, so just give her the card to bring and I'd say it's grand. No tout gives their card to punters and the industry knows plenty of tickets are bought as presents.

Any questions asked and answered with my boyfriend bought me these as a present and here is the card to prove it should be met with a reasonable response of "that makes sense on you go" and that's only if questions are asked.....I personally doubt they will
