Ticket purchasing idea

Anybody remember the TV show LOST? They had that hatch and if somebody didn't enter the mysterious numbers every half an hour then the island would start imploding. 

 

I think an online desktop/laptop based variant of this would be good, like a digital queue. In between the hours of 6pm and 9pm every night in the 2/3 weeks before ticket sale day whereby instead of entering numbers you answer an easy question every 30 minutes to prove you're not a bot. 30 minute intervals give you the chance to eat and stuff but you couldn't really commit to anything substantial like going out for a meal.

 

Obviously some people work evenings so you could, in advance, specify a 3 hour block that would best suit your situation.

 

Missing a question wouldn't chuck you out of the queue, it would just knock you back a step or two.

This is of course already happening, and it's called eFests. I've found you don't really get to take the 30 minute breaks very often though....

Yeah I did love it. Kept with it until the end but found the ending a bit of a let down
