aaronasprey
Hi, I am a first time v Festival go-er and have heard that food and drink is expensive. Am I able to take my own food & drink with me? (Soft drink of course) Only want to take snacks like crisps and chocolate and stuff like that. Thanks for any help
phil the shrew
In the arena area Food in bags or packets is fine like crisps, chocolate, sausage rolls etc but drink is limited to one plastic bottle - I think no bigger than 330ml and obviously no alcohol No cans, glass bottles or flasks allowed which is a major pain! It's supposed to be to stop people taking in masses of alcohol but does come across as forcing you to buy all your drink - including soft drinks from the very pricy food stalls. Bottle of water can be £1.50 500ml coke £2 There are some free water points but they are difficult to find, so unfortunately if you want to keep hydrated on site be prepared to folk out a fair bit of cash
watsonjm
V is no more or less expensive than any other festival really. Burger will set you back between 4-7 quid depending on the stall, noodles £4-5, pizza around £10.
