Where can I arrange to have my son collected?

I know Bath and West show ground is the official meeting place but last year it took us about 7 hours to get over there and back in all the mud and I'm hoping not to repeat that! My sister is collecting my almost 3 year old son on Sat at about half 10. Is there somewhere near Gate B I can meet her does anyone know? We have a car parking ticket if that would help?

Otherwise I think the best option would be to drive from the caravan straight to bath and west?

My advice, use your car to get off site then meet your sister at a pre-arranged point - Tesco Shepton ? A37 maybe ?

Anything else is likely to be a ball ache and take hours - just my opinion !

Take the bus from the on site bus station to either Shepton or Glastonbury town and get her to meet you there, much easier than trying to get nearer to the site, bus is free too

Why not walk down to the Apple Tree pub on the A361? Should be fine on the Saturday as there will be limited festival traffic. The pub has a car park.

Agree with Glastonlocal. Or look at detailed map and sort out a plan. My sister dropped 2 of our kids at 1130 on Sunday at the entrance to the East Campervan fields. Less than 10 mins walk to PGC. Worked well for us.

I want to get my kids dropped to me on the Saturday. Am staying in worthy view and there is a shuttle bus running to drop and collect point direct from there, but was wondering whether perhaps the apple tree idea is better.

Hubbie would be coming from m5 and just want to confirm that he would be able to get along a361 to the pub? (from what I've looked at it's only closed on the Monday?

Is the Apple Tree not closed? And as such I dont know if the car park is accessible? But going by Glastonloacls name he is probably best placed to say if this is the case or not

The Apple tree has been closed but has recently got a new owner and I gather they're trying to be open for Glastonbury, if not before. Spoke to another local landlord about the new owner, who wasn't glowing in praise for him but we'll see.

Fab thanks Glastonlocal, I'll get her to meet me there, I did look on a map but wasn't sure what roads would be closed.  In my head every route is closed but when I looked at the traffic orders most only seem closed from midnight Sat?

we have had kids picked up on sat morning before, and we just asked nicely the guys manning the main entrance to worthy farm if the car could swing round in the entrance for a minute or two. They were fine with that.

I've been to 7 Glasto's now and I just don't pay any attention to the roads, I'm like a little ant scurrying along my coloured line.  I'll have a look where the farm is in relation to the Rd, she's coming from Wales if that makes a difference?

somewhere near gate C would be perfect for us, all I have to do is check her the boy and grab some medicine so it would take about 2 minutes literally

Me again, sorry.  I really can't work out the road closures!  It looks like the Love Fields are based right by PG B, can she meet me there do you think?
