Bars in arena

Hi, is the Bacardi/Mojito tent likely to be there? Also can you take any food and/or drink at all into the arena?

Not sure about what other branded bars there will be, will most likely find that out when the site map is released. As to food a drink: "It is not permitted to bring food and drink into the arena." (Rule 31, link below) so no, nothing allowed except empty bottles.

Is there usually a complete ban on food? I can understand no picnics but I am one of those people who always has some kind of emergency protein bar. Surely I'm allowed that.

Officially, no. But you'll get a bit of a pat down on the way into the arena. If they don't find anything, they can't take anything off you. Usually, I can get at least 4 cans through. One in each welly, one in the boxers and one in the foldaway jacket I carry.

Same tunes,same crack and same drinks...

Spent most of the weekend going between there,the Palm stage and slam.

Well worth it mate.

One of the funniest things I seen last year was about 100-150 folk doing the slosh to will smiths"Miami"pish song but it just worked with everyone smashed.

Don't buy doubles at the cocktail bar...or continually pay with card. Unless you want to have a mini heart attack when you look at your balance.
