Ticket Despatch

Got an email saying our tickets were despatched today

Is this earlier than normal? I recollect in the past panicking as it was less than a week to go and still no tickets.

My problem now is that we took a decision to get them delivered to our new address as we agreed the sale of existing/purchase of new house back in February and were expecting to be in by April. Here we are and still no move!

The vendor will probably be working when they are delivered so will get the card from Royal Mail. I don't see too much of a problem us getting the card from him (assuming we can get the message to him that the letter is VERY IMPORTANT and not to destroy the card. I doubt the guy will recognise our names tbh - even though we are buying his house.....

Assuming that we get the collection card, any idea how anal the Post Office will be regarding proof of address? Obviously, we have nothing yet.

The Post and I don't have a particularly good relationship. Don't know if it is just my local 'office but they seem to employ complete cock-knockers and I have had many a run in with them. I hate them almost as much as my Doctor's receptionists. Sorry any RM employees who are reading. I'm sure you aren't all on power trips who like to goad people behind your perspex

Any ideas how long RM would take to send back to See Tickets if we did have a nightmare getting them?

I thought they only asked for evidence that you were the person it was addressed to, not that you lived at that address. Or else, how would you have got the card?

If they do kick up, I'd suggest taking along evidence of the purchase, to assist you, not sure you'll need that though.

Also, may be worth popping a note through the vendors letterbox telling him the crack.
