Spotted in this week's Guardian Guide, there's going to be an iPlayer-only 15 minute episode of Private View, in which Michael Eavis takes us on a guided tour of the new Constable exhibition at the V&A. Not sure when it's going to be available, but the link's here for anyone who wants to keep an eye out.

I wonder if he's wearing shorts...??

I'm watching it at the moment. Thanks for the heads up, as a Glastonbury goer and a graduate in Fine Art, I find it interesting. I can't understand the reasoning for the film though, why have they put Eavis in an art gallery to talk about Constable? It's a bizarre scenario.

I think it's part of a series of 'random people talking about random exhibitions'.

Just watched, and rather enjoyed it. Had no idea Constable had painted Stonehenge! Michael's looking very well - I love hearing him speak so passionately about the rural life.

Pretty sure there was an earlier one featuring Goldie talking about another artist. I saw it listed on iplayer and found the idea hysterical for some reason. I may have been a touch stoned.

Intresting read!

Didn't know his social housing project either! Thats fantastic, though the thought of him given his age moaning about retired folk moving to the village made me laugh :P
