Bought two tickets on the back of the gig, though I had been mulling it over before I went , funds had stopped me as I was saving it for the fest but now if thought fuck it and I will be going to Camden at the Roundhouse on the Saturday in October.... can't wait, but I doubt it'll top Sunday's gig, lets face it I'm not going to be 4 from the front there, and it'll be totally different. But on the plus we'll get the full on show will lighting etc though not as intimate.

I'm going to that. Roundhouse is a good venue too... should be fun.

I had just met a tired friend (from eFest) who'd been working all week and so decided to take him to sit in-front of the front crowd barrier (as I'd blagged a pass for Yoko).

Both the girls. were gobsmackingly good.

Loved it.

They'll be back on a bigger stage.

So gutted I cba with the trek up to the Park and back the Pyramid again and settled on watching Wailers (and got there late and ended up not really enjoying it due to the size of the crowd there).

Anyone see any of the shows she did recently on UK tour? saw her last week at Liverpool in a small venue and she was incredible one of the best gigs I've been. She's also added Actor out of Work and Chloe in the Afternoon to the set. Her stage presence is brilliant plus more crowd diving and grabbing peoples stuff and using as a prop. Like to see the selfie Annie Clark took on someone's camera too in the middle of Your Lips are Red when in the crowd.

I think I've been a bit unlucky with her gigs. She was stunning at Glastonbury, but there was a rubbish crowd and sound in Manchester earlier in the year, and then there was a massive power cut when I saw her in Leeds the other week, which meant she had a to cut some of the set. It was still a good gig, but I'm jealous that the Liverpool show was so good, as I nearly went to that instead!

Sorry to hear that. I heard about the problems in Leeds. I think she has really polished the show compared to earlier in the year and it's a bit more free. The crowds are generally quite muted at her shows so it's probably better standing near the front like I did, only negative was the heckler who was told to fuck off by the crowd. It looks like she's having a great time at the moment. When she does jump in the audience people do knock her guitar out of tune, so she had to change it.

Probably be worth going to one of the shows in October at one of the bigger venues.

She doesn't appear to be playing the Bolton Albert Hall, I can only assume you mean the Manchester Albert Hall show? Which I will also be going to, really looking forward to it, hopefully the sound will be a bit better than the Cathedral show, but if the show is anything as good as either the Cathedral or Glastonbury, it will be brilliant.

To the best of my recollection, I've not been to the Albert Hall before, but all the other venues that Trof run are really good. From the outside, it's a really cool looking building, I'm told the performance space inside is a great layout in terms of space, being able to see the band, and acoustics, so I look forward to it.

o2 Academy in Liverpool was really small and run down but she sounded really good, especially the sound of her guitar.

From the outside, it's a really cool looking building, I'm told the performance space inside is a great layout in terms of space, being able to see the band, and acoustics, so I look forward to it.

Yeah it's really great. Perhaps my favourite Manchester venue now. There's always been a fantastic atmosphere when I've been, and a nice high stage so us small people can see. She'll be incredible there

I was at the Leeds gig too and 'tis true she had to miss three songs from the set due to the power cut (which took out the PA and back line for about 20 mins). D'ya know though I actually thought the power cut made the occasion a bit special. Instead of immediately fleeing to the dressing room she stayed on stage for some good-natured banter with the crowd, with people reminding her of previous times she'd played in Leeds. The crew brought her a glass of white wine, she shunned my advice to down it in one because she 'is a lady' and told a very rude joke. The rest of the gig was a belter...great atmosphere and she went down a storm.

I love the Deaf Institute, never seen a show there that wasn't brilliant, I heard the way they've approached Albert Hall is basically Deaf Inst, but bigger. I've not been grabbed by anything they've put on since it opened, but in the next few months I'm going to St. Vincent, Lykke Li and Metronomy there, so should be able to give it a fair shake. Gorilla is also brilliant, many memories there, I'm facing the prospect of paying a filthy tout over the odds to see DFA1979 in Oct.
