Yep i've started checking weather reports obsessively too, even though i know we won't get a clear indication until next week. As others have said i hope its dry on the thursday just until i get my tent up. Never done the walk of death in rain and i don't particularly want to.

walk on the thursday on 2012 was bad enough even though it wasn't raining, it had been for the past few days. I remember seeing a lassie just go to her knees in the mud giving up due to the mud plus the unexpected heat

I don't think that's too much to ask.

I pitched during a slight drizzle at Reading last year and my tent was went the whole weekend (also, shit tent). But that does remind me to ask. I have a double skin tent, but do I also need a ground sheet? It has one built in but I don't wanna take no chances.

Tangerine fields for me as well, it is pointless checking the weather before Monday or Tuesday next week.....

Matt.....the Glastonbury line up was FAR superior to T not even in the same park, if you get the chance check out mogwai their set was amazing.......

No it's can't be as bad as 2012 that was biblical, but it also rained non stop for days leading up to it which made it worse!
