Best way to get there

I live near Castle Cary and was wondering should I get dropped off at the station and get the shuttle bus or go to the festival straight off, didn't know what would be easier. Plus what entrance would be best from Castle cary direction?

Someone help a newbie

You can't get dropped off at the festival itself, you have to get dropped of at - wait for it - the drop off point! That's the Bath & West Showground, and there's a shuttle from there. I reckon that would be your best bet, as it can get completely rammed at the station.

The first shuttle from the station leaves at 7am, and the first train into Castle Cary arrives shortly after 6:30am, so if you want to be ahead in the queue, get to the station at that point.

Shuttles run from the drop off point throughout Tuesday night, so depending on how early you want to get to the Gate A, you can either head over to the Showground around 5-6am, or just wait for the first shuttle from the station at 7am,

    • I saw that the payment method is contactless wristbands - I understand you collect them at the festival site and can top them up there as well? Yes, there are top up points, keep the recepe if you want to withdraw the money in the end   How much does food and drink usually cost at the festival? We would like to know how much money we should prepare for the festival. Beer, Wine etc. 5€, Gin tonic, Whishkey Cola were 6-6.5€, food 10€    Is there a bus from the festival site to the city center? And are there any stops along the way? No offical info yet, but ussualy there are free festival buses from Ljubljanica to festival site, with few stops on the way. Nice to get to the festival but crowded from festival back to the city.   Where is the best place to find an Uber/Bolt to return from the festival site?
