Monday Morning Devastation - Don't Do It. (picture thread)

Seems like most people in this thread are overestimating the price of a tent. We've got one for £20 between two of us, £10 each works out at less than £2 a day, so we've already got more than our moneys worth without having to go to all the hassle of pulling down a muddy tent Monday morning. You all just need to look a little harder for some bargains rathewr than getting mugged off at the mainstream camping shops.

My gelert tent cost me £30-40 back along and its done at least 6 Glastonburys and numerous other things. Would cost more now for the equivalent but it's money well spent investing in a decent one. Doesn't leak either although that's partly due to me reproofing and seam sealing it. Single skin tents are a waste of time though. Get one that pitches outer first and has a bit of porch for wellies, etc.

That's the bottom of Pennards. In fairness, all of the tents in the foreground were under several feet of water on Friday morning, with the owners either in the welfare tent or on their way home:

It doesn't explain the huge number of other tents in the background though.
