Great thanks! Are you heading there too? Can you specify which car park you want to park in if we get there early. I've looked at map and orange 35 looks the closest? Pink looks miles away!

Great thanks, to be honest we have no idea where to camp but Pennards has been recommended by a few mates. Having never been before it looks daunting so all advice greatly appreciated. We'll be sure to follow the railway line :)

Yep, Gate D is your best shot and my advice is not to do what a lot of people do, head as the

crow flies for Pennards, but to head down the railway track until the near or far adjoining corner with Pennards and then into the field. Given how laden everyone is these days it's an

easier trek.

I've never seen the attraction of Pennards myself, but there's definitely a reason why it's

always rammed i suspect!

well you can and you cant.

All you will be doing is ' walking around ' the

crew camp site - see image below this is a shot with Gate D behind the camera - just follow all the rest walking south - as long as you keep to the left ' and keep the crew site to your left - you

will end up at the Old Railway track

yes I know its a pain but the Old Railway track ' your walking around is used for supplies - once

you go around the crew camp { which is marked on the map } your then free to continue again on the Old railway track - the map for some daft reason shows a road does not mot make it clear you cant walk down it.

its quicker that going though Bushy Ground.

Is it? Are we talking about the same thing. Come in through Gate D and across the raised railway line to where The Glade is and then take a right?

If so i guess this is a relatively new thing as it never used to be (i've CV'd for quite a few years now, so my experience sounds like it's out of date).

OP: You won't have all that much choice, but head for the west car parks. After that the festival will just have it's way with you. You'll get guided to where to park, and you'll see the faithful heading out of whereever you've parked to the nearest gate.

You would be better of heading to gate D, but that's all the control you have really!

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
