Inflatable sleeping mats etc.

hey all!

I really can't be arsed with the hassle of my old inflatable mattress thing any more as 1. It's really actually quite heavy 2. takes up valuable backpack space and 3. deflates on me in the night!

I really can't get on with the foam roll mats - I've tried on numerous outings before but I just can't get comfortable or to sleep.

Obviously, price is a major factor here, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a decent inflatable roll mat or if there are any inflatable air mattresses out there that are light, small and crucially, actually work!

Also I'm a massive chunky monkey so I need something that can keep my fat ass from touching the ground

I got a self-inflating camping mat in home bargains for £9.99. Seems okay, I've usually taken those rubbish foam mats so splashed out a little this year! I did hear a tip of manually blowing extra air into it through the valve and it seems to get a decent thickness so worth a try.

Pop onto Aldi's website - they have a self-inflatable mattress on offer! I've just bought one and it's awesome!
