I hadnt realy entertained the idea of going to see Robert Plant if he was anywhere other than midday somewhere due to the stuff Ive heard him do with Alison Kraus and it being slightly too folky for the evening, but based on that setlist i might have to re-evaluate!

saw him plenty of times recently, last at the Albert Hall. He plays blinding set at the mo with a good mixture of own tunes, reworked Zep stuff and nods to his influences. Slot/stage wise probably best suited towards the top end of the Jazz World stage. Can't wait, also bought tickets for the Glastonbury Abbey gig in August as I only got my festival ticket in the resale yesterday.

I saw him with this band last summer or the summer before (I forget), and there were a few LZ classics in the set.

However, don't be too surprised if he's half way thru a song before you realise you know it, cos they're done VERY differently.
