Ticket page info...

Hi all,

Ive got someone working on a ticket bot and he needs to know some info in order to see if our plan is possible.....

Does anyone know if on ticket day when we were refreshing

http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/gfl-holding ?

This would only give 3 results....a blank page, the holding page that had a count down on it or the actual ticket page.....

Was there something else you needed to click inbetween before you got to the actual enter registration no page?

Is this how it is every year also?

Also which keywords could you see written on the success page? I am asuming "enter registration no" ? Or something similar that was unique to the ticket buy page only?

Has your mate considered the very real possibility that the IP address of such a bot might get blocked - so he'll have to think up some way of randomising the page scraping and also getting access to multiple IP addresses so as to stay hidden? Good luck

I got someone to do the same, didn't work very well as the script had to wait for a connection which meant that it was useless for long periods (when seetickets were down)

The word you want is postcode.
