hi folks,

apologies in advance as this will have definitely been asked before but do you need any forms of i.d to enter the festival bar your ticket.

one page of the official site says you need it, yet another page states its not needed.

Just thought i'd reach out and ask people who have visited before, thanks in advance for your help :D

No, your face is your ID!

You might want to bring ID with you if you look under 25 (as you're likely to get challenged at the bars to buy drinks, so might want to get an Over-18 wristband - I'm 35 and I still occasionally get asked for ID :D so I'll bring my Citizencard) or if you don't look like the photo on your ticket any more (hair dye / beard / some kind of Joan Rivers-esque facelift etc.) You can always leave your ID in a lock-up and it'll be perfectly safe for the weekend (just don't forget to pick it up before you leave!)

Attendees arriving on train will be tattooed with a barcode at the station prior to being ushered to their workstation. This will suffice for ID for their stay at Glastonmill until their departure in 2028.

    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
    • Thanks for the suggestion, had never heard of them yesterday and have picked up a ticket today.
