Caravan tent size

Will a tent measuring 4m x 2m be ok round the back of the caravan????

I have a similar question actually...bringing a campervan for the first time this year and was wondering if anyone knows if this looks like an OK size for the awning in the picture?

There's usually enough space for a tent behind a van/caravan as long as it's not a massive tent. We usually have 3 man dome behind ours.

Same goes for awnings - tobylarone that looks fine to me.

You just need to make sure you tell the stewards who park you up that you need space for an awning so that they leave enough space between you and the next van

Should have said, I am planning on going for the Tuesday to Blue East campervan field

We usually go in Tuesday evening (east fields) and have only had to queue for 15 minutes or so.

As long as it doesn't cross fire lane or encroach on neighbours your fine

If you're leaving on monday expect slow moving traffic and the potential for overheating..

My van usually runs very cool, but that monday has a couple of nervous hours !

I'm also in an ok vdub. Overheating is always a worry so if we're queuing I tend to either turn the engine off or prop the engine lid open to give it a bit more air.

We have an awning and need to put a tent up to.

We have an east ticket and will be arriving Tuesday, anyone know what time we need to arrive make sure we get in a family field?

No never been, why? Seen a similar camper have you? We've only had it for a couple of years so may have been there in a previous life!

My friend who went to bearded theory a few years back had a piccie of a green VW very similar to yours with eyes and it had a special beard on the front for the weekend - just wondered if it was the same one! think the piccie was a few years old so maybe it was the same one. It's fab - bet you can't wait to get it there!
