Posting method for tickets?

Does anybody know which of the myriad services of 'stuff which requires a signature' RM offer See opt for when posting tickets? I am freaking out a bit, as RM tried to deliver them yesterday, and I'm on holiday now til next Tuesday, and if tickets are sent Royal Mail Signed For™ the delivery office only keeps them for a week. Please, please, please tell me it's one of the other services (i.e. not Royal Mail Signed For™) which the delivery office keeps for 3 weeks. I forsee a nightmare otherwise where they get sent back to See and end up being lost or delayed in the system to an epic extent.

NB There's no point booking a redelivery as I think it's my friend's name and my address (she paid the balance (so envelope in her name) but lives in Denmark (so doesn't want them posted to her!)) but without the 'while you were out' card I don't know for sure and would probably get loads of the details wrong! I realise this in itself may well pose a nightmare when trying to retrieve from the delivery office; but one freak out at a time...

aye royal mail special delivery guaranteed by 1pm is what mines were aswell.

is there not a way to get them to deliver elsewhere such as a parents or friends house? can normally do that with royal mail packages you've missed that need a signature.

I would, but I'm a bit concerned if no one can produce ID for the name on the envelope RM will be 'difficult' about it. At least I can show that I live at the right address, and can also show them the confirmation email - so I'd rather deal with that issue myself than send the whole caboodle onto another address <sigh>. It sounds like the service used is one that the delivery office keeps for 3 weeks though, so at least I can put off panicking now until I get back off holiday and have to try and sweet talk the delivery office into releasing them into my hot little hands...
