I too read this at work, (sneaky peak), finished reading tonight when I got home, my heart was racing, thank goodness they were found.

Now I need a sensible hiding place, where kids and animals cant find them, and wont be such a good hiding place that I might forget where that is - god forbid !!

Hope you two relax with a bottle of wine, and laugh this off. These things happen. enjoy your festival . B)

Apologise for blaming each other!?!? Someone was to blame!

What a result, that's genuinely a horrible thread to start reading and so glad it turned out ok. Asked OH to check on ours next time she's passing her "special place."

Fabulous! :girldance::yahoo: I was getting sneaky peaks of this at work but had to stop doing that at around 2. Couldn't wait to get home to see how you had got on.

Have a fabulous (and friendly) evening and a great festival.

Phew! So pleased you found them... And now my OH understands why ours get taken straight to my mum's for safe keeping - he's not even allowed to look at ours because he would also put them 'somewhere safe'!

Hope you've celebrated with a few ciders

Thanks everyone for your kind messages. It was indeed an amazing feeling once they had been found. The tickets are now back in the safe place and will be staying there for another 3 weeks! We are laughing about it now but it was the worst feeling ever! A sense of normality has returned :) thank you everyone!

On another note, Glastonbury replied to me and said they couldnt do anything which is fair enough I guess so its lucky we found them!

Excellent news - I knew you hadn't thrown them away. I've been losing things all my life, pointlessly routing through bins and bonfires, then going back for a drink and finding item X in the fridge.

I have to ask - was this one of the first places you looked - or maybe should of looked - I am convinced this is the world's greatest finding things strategy - or was it just some mad random place you still can't understand

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
