Glasto bound and pregnant :)

My wife will be 22 weeks this Glasto. We've done EOTR Festival when she was pregnant before but Glasto is completely different kettle of fish!

This will be our 9th Glasto so fairly comfortable all will be well. The only slight concern is large bumping crowds so will be taking our time and standing at the back when the Stones are on! My only advice would be to think about the site and leave plenty of time from A to B - and not access the Pyramid from round the sides if a big act is on or about to come on. Wouldn't want to get caught on a path on the wrong time like when Snoop Dogg was on a few years back - it was ridiculous!!!!

Good luck to all you pregnant ladies. I can't believe you had a newborn in the NCT tent! If you give birth at glastonbury, does the baby get free tickets for life?

I went to green man 35 weeks pregnant last year and it was a total mudfest with real sticky mud so I had to be quite careful walking around. But I ate loads of food, sat and watched bands and had a proper little dance (at a safe distance away) to metronomy prompting a few people to say be careful! And my 8 month old now LOVES music. Though he will be staying at home this yeart. After 18 months of abstaining, I am going to be officially getting on the booze!

I hope you all have a lovely festival. It did feel very special going to Green Man last year seeing the bump squirming around to the music x

2011 we had a newborn (day old) in the NCT tent in the Kidz field. Lady came heavily pregnant, went into labour, gave birth in a local hospital and returned to site.

She was calm relaxed and happy as we're her partner and old children. The baby was gorgepus and content. It's all a state of mind.

All pregnant ladies come and stop by the NCT tent for a cuppa and a rest. It is quite a haven.
