Yeah,much slower than previous years. Can't wait though as it means a week off from work and seeing my family as I live in Surrey

I did notice that the Carlsberg cider is a sponsor this year

I was thinking the other day the must be struggling. The tickets with travel deals etc are odd this late on, no?

Just looked into pre buying a car park ticket....says you will save £5 as its only £15 online and £20 (£5 more than last year) on the day. but after postage and booking fee you would only save £1.50 from the on the day price! so nae point

Can't see it being that busy this year in all honesty. A lot of people I know in my age bracket (18-22) have decided not to go this year as they don't reckon it's worth the money. I assume this is the target group for the festival these days so it wouldn't surprise me if ticket sales were down.

Hopefully I'm wrong though. Another cheeky announcement soon would definitely get me in more of a festival mood this year.

Reckon last year was well down on 2011, just from what I seen, camp site less busy, arena less busy etc

Really is a lot less hype this year from previous years! Still hoping for a brilliant weekend though

I know quite a few who have gone in the past that are not anymore. Maybe it's an age thing but they are either not doing festivals or are going elsewhere(Parklife is popular).

I hope they announce some small acts soon, some of the highlights of last year were in the small tent that had music from late evening. Wouldnt say no to bastille returning

Last few years we've had ash, chic and blondie all announced with four weeks to go so expecting something like that soon. Still very light on "guitar" bands too compared to previous years.

In my 5 years of going, I think Ash last year may have been the best thing I've seen. I couldn't walk properly until the Thursday after because my calfs were so sore from bouncing around right down the front!
