Volunteering Camping

Hi.

I have a few friends who are registering with hotboxevents to work at leeds festival this summer. As a festival worker, do you HAVE to camp in the staff areas or is it optional ?

The reason I ask is that I am purchasing a ticket alone, and my friends are working the festival. I wouldnt be too happy if they have to camp in a seperate area to me, and i have to camp alone.

Bit late but... volunteers all have to camp in the staff zones. For safety reasons, apparently

I will also be volunteering with hotboxevents, does anybody know whether you can work with your friends during your shifts, unlike at Reading where you get split up?
