Campsite opening time

Last year they seemed to open a couple of hours early, what's the chances of this happening again?

I was pitched up and having a beer long before noon last year.

I was wondering if this would be the case, would it be dependent on how many folk are queuing by the Thursday morning?

Likewise. I think I was on my 3rd can of Jim Beam and coke by about 2. Would have been sooner if I'd have learned to have not pack as much rubbish; I think I got in last year about 11 or so.

I was in by 11 last year, think we'll head along at 10 to see if they open early again.

We might sleep in the car near to the site and get there for 9 or 10. I got there last year about 9, I think. Looking back I made the mistake of packing my car full of shit I didn't need (which I'm sure everybody has done at some point) so this year - after perfecting the festival essentials at Download - I'll probably only need one trip from the car to Blue camp.

Seemed to open at 10 this year. We arrived at 10.30 and ended up in a 2 hour queue which was quite horrendous, I would have turned up at 9 if I'd know they were opening at 10. Just wish they'd tell us before the festival starts exactly what time the gates will open.

Yellow gate opened at 9am. The que had started to form by about 7am by all accounts. I did speak to one group of people who had been in the car park since 11pm the night before.
