The best time to get to Reading on Thursday in order to avoid queues

Just a quick question regarding getting to Reading on Thursday. Usually I would get there as early as possible, line up for 2 hours and pitch my tent. However this year I am sharing a tent with somebody who has an early bird ticket. So my spot will already be in place. As this is the case, what is the best time to get there thursday? I don't fancy getting up early again, or lining up for ages!

Thanks.

Hmm...tricksy one. I'd say about 11. Avoid: legions who get there for 8/9. Avoid: post-exam results children at 1ish. Used this trick from 2003 - 2008 and it never failed me. That said, I've not been since 2008 so all may have changed. Personally, I'm getting in to Reading station at 10.30 then doing the walk, so I will soon discover if 11am is a good shout or not! :P

No worries buddy. :) If I see you, I will give you a hi-five! I'm a 28 y o lady who looks about 12 with short brown hair, probs in shorts and wellies (I LOVE THEM, DON'T JUDGE ME), hoiking a huge rucksack and carrying a camping chair.
