Guys theres still camping at the Cambridge folk festival, my nan says the camping there is quite noisy untill bed time but its quiet after 9pm once the horlicks tent shuts. Love you all, Peace.

Off site camping starting to sound attractve but I will end up on site. It does say you can use disposable BBQs and Hexi Stoves though..will prob take a Hexi Stove as they boil up water/cook fairly fast so good enough for breakfast.

We have never had any trouble sneaking a gas stove in, usually left it in the car and gone for it later in the evening.

Normally do family camping as I tend to do Download on my own but like the idea of Shardlow Marina. Called them up today and got the last pitch looking forward to joining the offsite party!! Now just need to make sure that work doesn't clash!!!

Give em a ring as that might be the last non electric pitch. When I called they said they were close to selling out non electric pitches but had plenty with electrics.

If not, cuddle up and zip your sleeping bags together for a night of 'just friends' spooning.

I swapped mine from non electric to electric last week. Can't beat a proper light and an electric heater. I shall be taking the DAB radio and the full camping kitchen. Fuck pissing about with a Hexi stove in the dark and walking miles with all my gear. This is the future I tell thee....
