Yeh i think you could be right with Radiohead, im also fully expecting The Cure to be announced as well. On their website it says they have "1 or maybe 2" more european festivals to announce, and they've got a nice gap in their schedule for Sziget.

Its also about time we got more of an announcement!! longest wait ever

I think I'm gonna be watching Korn too, but I truly don't care about Placebo. But, who knows, their new album might be the best ever and will change my opinion. ;)

And seriously, even in the unlikely case all acts to be announced are not good for you, you will certainly not regret going to Sziget once the festival has begun. Sziget is not about line-up, it's about the total experience. People come from everywhere, bands come from everywhere and together everyone makes Sziget a great festival!

oh the Cure would be great :)

they (the organisers) have stated they'll be going for a more youthful appearance to the lineup this year but we'll see....

Placebo are a bit meh, seen them a few times and they just didn't do it for me. they could have kicked arse with the material they have, but didn't.

Announcement deffo sometime next week according to the official Sziget News on Facebook. I think it'll contain a big, big band the foos or cure perhaps. I think it's now where alot of people are torn whether they should buy tickets so releasing a big act or two makes perfect sense. Im not even gonna guess every time ive been completely wrong ..

Day zero: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%81kos_Kov%C3%A1cs

Hungarian singer-songwriter. Seems like Sziget is targetting the locals: they no longer can afford Sziget itself so they're giving them this.

Bit of a letdown after Prince, on the other hand: the announced and rumoured lineup is already so good that it's hardly a problem. Viza, LMFAO, Subways, Steve Aoki, Ministry.. I'm really, really looking forward to it already! :)

Last year the end-of-March announcement contained one planned headliner: Amy Winehouse. Pulp and Chemical Brothers had been announced before in the first release of names, while White Lies (in my opinion the weakest headliner) was announced end of April. The Prodigy was announced end of June, 30 Seconds To Mars (replacing Amy Winehouse) was announced beginning of July and the announcement of Prince was really, really late: end of July.

As we already have three likely headliners right now, I think there will be no headliner announced this time. Instead I expect quite some names for the World Music Stage and some smaller stages.

Exit Festival are revealing more of the line up tomorrow as well. Co-incidence? Perhaps.....or maybe they have booked the same band/s and can't reveal it until tomorrow.

Really hoping to be blown away by the Sziget line up after all the good things my mates said about it last year. The fact Michael Eavis has piped up a couple of times about Sziget in last few weeks too bodes well. Being who he is, maybe he has some inside knowledge about the lineup.....Probably me just wishful thinking though.

Foos, Noel, The Cure & Black Keys and I'll be extremely happy.

Well, lets hope we get a great announcement tomorrow - what's the betting it's in the afternoon? ;) Then we'll have an excuse to book tickets on payday! :)

    • Saturday notes:   MARINA - absolute highlight, a proper diva, I'm so glad I skipped the headliners for her. Also, the crowd was beautiful, no yapping, no pushing, just enjoying the music together. Primavera crowd at its best.   Ninajirachi - One would say that at the end of the last day of the festival, they must have told each other everything, right? Not really. There was still SO MUCH MORE to say. Primavera crowd at its worst. It was completely packed and someone was constantly pushing themselves through the crowd. It was quite difficult to enjoy the set, even though I love her music.   Olivia Rodrigo - The teasing, the speculations, finally the confirmation and the first reactions of people! When I was showing the "tweet" to my partner, there was a young girl standing behind us who asked me very politely if she could see it and if it is really happening here tonight and after she finally processed it, she had the cutest "Holy. sh*t." reaction. Few minutes later, when refilling the water, I almost lost it when another girl beside me started screaming "Oh my god! Oh my god! No way! Oh my god!", staring into her phone. And then also Robert Smith came. I must admit I'm not familiar with Olivia's songs (but I'm planning to change it) and can't really say I loved the set itself, but I absolutely loved the whole Olivia Rodrigo experience.
    • Few full sets on YouTube. The Cure and Skrillex are 2 that I’ve seen
    • Robyn hasn't sold out standing tickets at CO-OP live, wonder how many are left and if it'll have cheap tickets near the date.
    • Is anyone selling a medium camper van parking spot - I would love to buy it off you!   Bought our tickets a while ago and have since found out gf is pregnant and will be 7 months by festival! Luckily family have just bought a camper van we can borrow so we can still come along but… the medium parking spots have sold out 😞
