SeeTickets offer payment in sterling, however, I have heard bad reviews on them and transaction fee is about 4quid. Is it still going to be an eticket if I book off either OstFest or SeeTickets?

I booked through szigetfest.co.uk and they send the (e-)tickets immediately after receiving the payment. In case of bank transfer that can take up to a few days. You can choose if you want an e-ticket or normal ticket, but normal tickets are more expensive... E-tickets from szigetfest.co.uk always worked fine for me About See I don't know exactly how they do it, but I've heard people had to wait for their tickets for a long time last year. Some even didn't get their ticket before they went to Budapest...

Once again cheers for the heads up Cristall! Much appreciated, think Im gonna book via szigetfest.co.uk; Getting a 'normal ticket' seems a bit silly, especially in my case as were travelling to Budapest on the 3rd.

As for the rum.. Ill just have a pint mate!

Went last year, incredible place well worth going.

Will be returning for sure in a few years. Trying lowlands this year and want to hit the big g next summer

Booked tickets, decided to go via OstFest, completely straightforward, bring on the summer. @morland, i know there is a multitude of different activities you can pursue in the festival itself but do you have any specific recommendations?

might be reading too much into this, but I did notice that on facebook that The Cure are friends of the Sziget Italia page. Also on the Cure's website it says that there are 3 or 4 more summer fesrivals that have still to be announced. Fingers Crossed!

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Bird seem to be supporting The Stone Roses on V Festival as well. Would they be coming to Sziget too??

people need to calm down a little bit, one user (not sziget news) has said that someone on sziget's italian facebook or twitter page has said that they are 'almost certain' that korn would headline so that (to me anyway) does not confirm anything.... i'm still standing by my own opinion that if korn were headlining they would have be announced as headliners not just as playing

I really hope you're right mr monkey.

Making my first visit this year, after going to Glasto for the last umpteen years as well as other fests, and for my Stag do too as a bonus.

I Don't mind Placebo although not a huge fan and I'm really not into Korn at all and never was. I also have tickets for Heaton Park to see the Roses as I live about 10 mins down the road....so the announcements haven't done it for me so far.

Hopefully the next announcement due anytime soon and further ones will be better.....here's hoping anyway.

Who are you realistically expecting as the remaining headliners?

My first sziget too (same as you as glasto isnt on).... no idea who else is headlining... in my dreams maybe at the drive in or the cure, i just dont think that korn will be headlining as they would have been announced as being (as placebo and stone roses were) people just need to chill out and wait to see who is announced and not judge the festival until all acts are announced... this time last year they hadn't actually announced anyone!

Just wanted to check with some other people that have bought their ticket from szigetfest.co.uk- if you bought more than one, and had to put all the ticket holders names in individually, did you find that the e-tickets all have the bookers name on anyway? Sure it will be OK as I forgot to bring the card I booked with last year and they were absolutely fine with just my UK driving licence but just wanted to check!

Oh and PS to the person looking for an apartment- three of us are getting a 2 bed place for £230 total for 9 nights this year- this was from Trip Advisor holiday rental section. Seems a bit too good to be true tbh- hoping it turns out OK but communication has been good so far!

Why does Guns'n'Roses playing at Exit festival have any significance I thought it was bands that play at VOLT and Balaton festivals that don't usually play Sziget..
