What a bunch of moaning f**kers you are!

Camp Moan !

Lighten up, your acting like spoilt children.

We had an awesome time, probably becaiuse we wern't in the spoilt kidz field (sorry pennards).

just hope you guys just don't go next time, as glastonbury is a very special place for a lot of people.. Its a shame that you take it for granted, and complain about such trivial things..

It will never be perfect! just like you. Accept it for what it is or just f**k off, and make room for people who enjoy/accept it for what it is.

Mr Funk? Why are you such a twat when you get home behind a computer? Where are the CT people moaning? There was the very unfortunate situation of SoCal being a total numpty and getting his passport stolen but FFS, stop being a self centred c*nt and just feck off to your pit of homophobic, picking on other people, high horse stupidness. You are a very very petty silly man.

In a spirit of pouring woodchippings on muddy water it was a most enjoyable Glasto for me but not one of the greatest. However I do think that constructive criticism, not moaning, should be encouraged. Surely the more thoughts on how to improve future festivals the better.

Our group came away thinking about what we would do differently next time by way the the equipment and food we took so that, hopefully, our next fest in July (Chagstock) will also be a positive experience.

So it's OK to gabble on ecstatically if you happen to enjoy the weekend, adding nothing to the debate other than a near religious fervour and a need to scream it at everybody, but saying it was miserable is just beyond the pale?

As I've said, not everybody there was 18 and fit with nothing to worry about but A-level results or a smidgen of student debt. Some people had very real difficulties in the mud and they are annoyed at the lack of decent provision. I am also annoyed at the way the scheduling meant that you were guaranteed crowds - nothing up against Paul Simon or The Circus and Arcadia not starting till after the headliners (I thought the whole point of booking such sh!t headliners was it freed the sensible up to do other things).

So, if you had a good time I respect your right to say so; I've even refrained from commenting on the "positive vibe" threads so as to not offend the demented little bunnies. However, if I want to start a thread pointing out just how awful the weekend was I'll do so. Feel free to comment, but f@ck your attempts to impose censorship.

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
