Food Stalls

I had to give up my pot of mango & vanilla yogurt to pull out awellie after that rainy friday night. To be honest I don't even remember what happened to it, all I remember is pulling on that silly stuck wellie with both hands and going back to the tent in my socks wondering where my yogurt was.

The Bagel Dude near the Meeting Point, humous and salad bagel with salad for £4.50 that filled me up.

Best food and best value was the huge plate of chicken and potatoes from the Roaming Rotisserie,didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Very friendly too.

For me, glasto 2011 was a year for Burgers which I don't think I've had at the G in 10 years! There was a high end place near the cubana bar (with a cow on the top) - looked worryingly rare initially until the first bite.

as well as the beat hotel BBQ- couldn't decide on my FAVOURITE - double bubble or dead hippy?!

They really were among the best ive ever tasted and I consider myself something of a connoisseur!

The good:

Bhatti Wraps in the field with the Astrolabe, Lebanese chicken with the perfect mix of meat & salad. delicious, and not left with a wad of tortilla / salad for the last 3 mouthfulls.

The Mexican place in Block 9 (first stall on the left as you entered from the railway track) did a most excellent Buffalo burger. I went back for more.

Exceptional Sausages? (with crispy onions) between Pyramid and John Peel did an excellent cumberland in a roll.

Tea & Toast van every Morning in the Park for a cheese and marmite toastie.

The Fruit stall every morning too, in the park.

Pizza at the joint next to Tiny Tea has become a bit of an institution for me and the kids over the past few years, and they do wicked cakes too.

Tiny Tea tent, goes without saying.

The Average:

Pieminster in the market just off Pyramid was disappointing. Wish I'd got in the queue for the fantastic looking fish and chips place next door.

Grande Bouffe. Getting a bit old now. Still great nosh, but a bit pricey for a bowl of potato and bacon bits
