Stolen ticket help

Hello a little question for you good folk. My friend has a dilemma. His ticks were signed for at his work on fri after he left. He went to work sat but no joy.

These may well turn up Monday but if they have been stolen is there anything he can do? Saw on another thread some phone numbers, email address' etc but couldn't find them again.

Apologies if I'm being stupid. Thanks in advance for any help.

If your friend can't find them on Monday then he needs to contact Seetickets ASAP with his registration details and the booking reference given when he booked it. They should then be able to advise on the next steps.

Last year, friends cleaner signed for their tickets, and then lost them. Tough titties said see.

shocker, but i'm not surprised and not a fan of SEE tickets. Customer Service is v poor imo.

My misses was out in the road doing stuff when my tickets came. Fella got out the car and asked if she was Mrs x and gave her them before driving off!. Not good.

I read on another forum last week about someone else whose ticket had been stolen from work.see have reissued and they will have to collect on silts.I was surprised as had always heard that they wouldn't do that but im very pleased they did. Good luck!

Oh and see were very negative about it at firs but eventually agreed!

It's a bloody sham if they've only been delivered on the Friday just gone, hardly gives you enough time to sort things out in events like these.

I'd be fuming.

I guess someone had to sign so ask whose the signature was - as it was not your friends - and this electronic signature should be on record, so ask who ever signed for it?

And ask why DX issued it to whoever in the office without friends ID?

DX is so very in the wrong- but I hope that maybe who signed for it at the office took the tickets home over the weekend just to be extra safe and your friend will have them safe in his hands tomorrow morning.

Tell Mania to get on the blower first thing if he can't find them - kick up a fuss about DX not requesting ID like they should have - reissue, they have to get him and Keano to Glasto...everything's crossed for them getting it sorted

Sorry to say but see will not reissue tickets as in preveious threads (last year)

if the tickets don't turn up the best he can hope for is a refund

Presumably they gave them to someone who knows him and that person locked them in a drawer for the weekend?

I don't want to have a mega moan about See, and repeat what has been said before. However, just a thought or a question.

We paid for our tickets to be delivered by DX, my tickets came by special delivery (signed for by someone else I should note). Is DX the same as special delivery? If not have I, or we, paid for a service that we did not receive?

If so, are we entitled to some form of refund. Which I suppose in the long run is not the important part - The important part would/could be See Tickets (or their agents) realising that this it is not acceptable to let other people sign for tickets.

Don;t know - just a thought?

Mine was delivered by a courier on a bike, I didn't need to show any I.D.

My boyfriend's was delivered by the postman, I signed for it and again no I.D. was needed, and as a girl surely it was obvious I wasn't him?

I have a shared front door so anyone could have signed for them in my house. Really bad form if they don't reissue tickets as they are nowhere near careful enough with the delivery.

Mine turned up with "Postie signed for you" written on the envelope!

But he's a nice chap and always does that if it's early in the morning, he knows I'm not keen on getting up early!
