Burning the Wickerman

first time on e festivals but reading some of the other posts hopefully someone can help.

They used to burn the wickerman (I think at the end of the festival?). Do they still do it and if so where and when? And is it worth watching?

I haven't seen them do this for a good number of years, they also use to do a massive firework display from the top of the stone circle field, which was pretty spectacular.

It was never a yearly thing. They did it in'92 and again some years later not sure when though. The '92 event was mad I assure you.

I thought it was a fairly regular thing until it started getting torched ahead of time.

just googled and it certainly occurred last year, listed only as 'at the stone circle'

Last year it was done on the Wednesday night - I think around 9pm at the Stone circle.

I'm sure if you head up there on wednesday afternoon and ask a security guard on the fence
