CD Swap 2011

Over the last 3 years we’ve had a CD Swap on this forum, anyone up for one this year? (I know it's a bit late in the day, but there's still 2 weeks to sort a CD out and get it in the post)

Right I've been weighing this up for a while, and though it happened later last year, the line up is out earlier and we need to get some community spirit going, of which this place is sorely lacking!

Here's the deal, sign up in this thread, and I'll put people into groups, size dependent on how many people sign up!

Once groups are made, PM each other for your addresses and getting making those CDs.

Please put some effort in with the artwork and everything, the ones I got last year really brighten up my days in the run up to the fest.

You can theme it on Glasto, or you can make a CD of wall to wall noisecore! It's up to you!

So let's get this rolling!

Any more takers?

Any Music obsessives who want to share their favourite Glastonbury 2011 songs with others?

Any more for the CD Swap?

Roll up, roll up, come impress people with your musical taste, and get 3 CDs in exchange. It's a great way of discovering new music.

Ghandi, would you mind taking my place in my group, if that's possible, I've just discovered the cd-writer has been removed without my knowledge from the PC. Grr...

Not a problem, i am just going to do a compilation of what i plan to see at this years Glasto. Unless someone wants a broader range of music? I will need to know who and how to send the CD's to etc?

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
