Yay, the wristband thread, it means it's getting very near!!! I would be happy with anything as long as it's bright, loved the glow in the dark stiching on last years (which is still glowing!) so hoping for bright, with glow in the dark bits!

In the style of Alberto Frog And the Amazing animal band. (Boarders of a certain age only)

I think it will be Green.

Glow in the dark bits would be cool though

I just checked and sadly there is no correlation between colours on old tickets and wristband colours.

Last night I dreamt that the wristbands were dayglo pink. However I'm about as psychic as a fridge magnet.

I noticed in the middle of the night on Saturday, woke my daughter up to point it out and, oddly, this was not welcome news at 4am. I've kept mine on all year round since (despite people's constant comments about hygiene) and it is cool that the last thing I see when I turn off the light is a little glowing loop, it's like lord of the rings :)

I took my son to worcester uni for the 'introduction day' thing and there was a girl there with every wristband since '05 on, all still looking pristine, not even chopped the dangly bits. I wanted to steal them, '05's is so pretty! Sadly my son was of the opinion that doing so would (1) be messy and (2) not reflect well on his forthcoming stay at the uni.

I have my 2009 and 2010 on, although Ive heard people talk about the hygiene issue, I shower every morning, and so do my wristbands! The 2009 one is starting to fray at the metal clasp thing. Hoping for a nice bright one this year, to complement 09 and 10 ones.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
