The Quechua pop-up tents do a superb job of keeping the elements out. I had to endure almost Hurricane conditions with lots of rain on the final night of Wizard last year and my tent was not damaged unlike a lot of the other tents there.

doesnt look promising, but then BBC 5 day forecasts are usually wrong in my experience!! general consencus at this stage seems to be showers, which is obviously preferable to constant rain....

I'd never heard of that metcheck site before Rockness linked to it a few years ago. It always seems to have decent weather (or at least no rain) predicted when all the other sites (weather.co.uk, metoffice, BBC, google etc) are predicting rain. Think I'll stick to looking at the weather.co.uk one it's normally pretty close from a couple days before.

I've got 3 apps on my phone, all saying rain on fri, two with sun/rain. one says sunny all day sat, the other 2 rain. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Either way, the wellies and water proofs will be needed!

Just hope its not prolonged rain and maybe a gush here and there. I dont mind a bit of both.

Aye, just checked BBC. Although it still looks to be cold, at least it looks drier.

I cant believe some people though complaining about the forecast. It's a festival in the North of Scotland. This ain't Benicassim!

The weather looks good now! Well better than the outrageous predictions at the beginning of the week. Rain, rain, rain, patchy rain, patchy rain, clear.

It's looking alright now, just showers predicted but it's looking like the showers that do come will be pretty light.

On BBC site the only rain predicted is on the Sunday, which is still a while away so hopefully that will change over the next few days as well.
