The one thing I simply haven't been able to manage is the late night stuff, I really want to go in Slumbarave, NYC Downlow and all that, but I'm so knackered by 1am and I can't seem to change my body clock enough to stay up any later than that. I want to see the random weird stuff going down in Shangri la, but again, it's late at night, which is a bugger. I'm not a drinker, so bars don't interest me. Oh, and I haven't been in Croissant Neuf for a show. So, still a few things for my 2013 to do list :D

I've never properly done the SE corner late night stuff. I've been there in the day, and I think once or twice at about 4am while very worse for wear. However, I've never trekked down there with a view to having a party.

I think generally after the headliners I'm happy and drunk, but a bit knackered. The thought of queuing and then intense crowds and music tends to lose out to hanging out watching something weird at the circus, cabaret or the other little stages and bars.

I saw alott of the bits that I missed last year and had a good look around Greenfields and Green Futures but the weather made it hard going looking for stuff. I've only been twice so there's alot still to find.:)

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
