Taxi to Glastonbury

Me and a load of my mates are thinking of getting a taxi to the festival, as it actually works out cheaper than getting the train from where we live. Does anyone know whether the taxis dropping people off have to queue as part of the queues for the car park, or whether they get a special route into the drop off point, as if we're going to have to be waiting for several hours on a metered taxi, then I think the train might be the better and definitely cheaper option!

Did it last year from Exeter airport and will do the same this year, phone up and get a quote - worked out at about £100 between the lot of us. You can get dropped off at whatever gate's closest but can only get picked up at the dedicated pick-up point.

Well worth it, hassle free and it's a nice way of avoiding queue central at the stations

Where you coming from? You say a load of you are going, what about your camping gear as well, it could turn out more pricey than you realise as you have to book extra taxis with the luggage you have. Might it not be cheaper to looking into a hire of a local minibus to drop you off collectively maybe?
