gazza_20
I reckon for next year headliners will be R&L - Foo Fighters, Kasabian/Coldplay and System of a Down T in the Park - Greenday, Linkin Park, RHCP V - RHCP and Arcade Fire

JID
I think SHM would be better as 4stage headliners. Could be right with mumford tho
gazza_20
I reckon Coldplay Mumford GaGa Snow Patrol maybe Sterephonics I don't think will be back so soon. V Fest is way too expensive for a two day event.

luckysalt
Ah yes Soundgarden! Forgot about them, you're probably right about Soni, Download wanted them this year but they pulled out leaving Andy to diss them, so im guessing Soni snapped them up. Are Bloc Party back on the scene then next year? Can't see them headlining, if Libs didn't then Bloc Party aren't gunna, they just aren't big enough. Biffy aren't big enough to headline any of the mainstream festivals yet, think they'll sub at TITP, not headline. And Phoenix festival. Its a festival that ran from 1993 to 1997 and went under in 1998. It was basically the same sort of line ups as old school V and Reading. Look it up. Anyway its returning next year and will be a big hitter, can see a lot of people who like what V and Reading was and isn't now going there next year. Think they're gunna have a huge line up, its ran by Vince Power who runs Hop Farm festival. I was looking at Phoenix festival line up for 1996 and the line up was just incredible Its a FOUR day festival by the way David Bowie, The Prodigy [2 sets one main stage, one in a tent], Neil Young, Bjork, Massive Attack, Sex Pistols, Chemical Brothers, Coolio, The Specials, Alanis Morrisette, Manics, Foo Fighters, Gene, Frank Black [singer from Pixies, if you didn't know], Placebo, Kenickie, Leftfield, Asian Dub Foundation, The Aloof, Dodgy, Wildhearts, Beck, Flaming Lips, Fun Lovin Criminals, Babybird, Super Furry Animals, Barenaked Ladies, Carl Cox, Alabama 3, CJ Bolland, Cypress Hill, Skunk Anansie, Stereolab, The Wannadies, Shed Seven, Catatonia, Goldie, Baby D, Moloko, Lamb, Terrorvision, The Cardigans, Drugstore, Senser, Longpigs, Reef, William Orbit, Ben Harper, 3 Colours Red, Echobelly and loads more

luckysalt
100% Radiohead will not be back at Reading next year. Think they'll do their own big shows but could see them doing TITP and Oxegen, I know they've been wanted a long time.

luckysalt
For T - Red Hot Chilli's and Linkin Park have new albums out, Greenday are well due a festival appearance R&L - Foo's pretty much nailed on, Kasabian - Reading and Leeds is the only festival that they haven't headlined it seems and Coldplay likewise with Kasabian, if not i reckon it would be SOAD headlining a rockier day. For V - Chilli's new album and Arcade Fire because they haven't played V for a while so just a logical guess

JIM-182
My guess at next years headliners: V- Lady GaGa, Arcade Fire. R&L- Bloc Party, Foo Fighters, System of a Down. TITP- RHCP, Jay-z & Kanye, Green Day. Download- Van Halen, Rammstein, Paramore. Soni- Tool, Black Sabbath, Soundgarden. IOW- Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Aerosmith. If Pheonix is going to be as big as it is sounding, then i think: Radiohead, The Strokes, The Killers, Jay-Z & Kanye. And what the hell, Glastonbury 2013 : Radiohead, David Bowie, Led Zepplin.
