Increased capacity?

It does seem odd to try and do it just three months before the festival, almost as if they're surprised at the amount of tickets they've sold and suddenly realised that they can make a few more (million) quid.

Must admit I'm really disappointed with this- it's a big increase for a relatively small festival. Obviously most people are spread between 2 stages - unlike most other festivals of a similar size. I know there are other areas- strongbow/hipshaker etc but these don't attract the same numbers as any of the alternate stages at V or Reading. In fact they have the alternate stages and STILL have strongbow type places. So what bothers me is that it can feel like it bottlenecks already in places and now it'll feel busier and they are unlikely to increase numbers of bars/toilets/water points etc

I used to love this festival- have been going since 2002 and it's starting to get less appealing each year now as the line up keeps disappointing, and now I think it is risking losing it's feel by putting an extra 20,000 people in the same sized venue.

It does seem weird doing it now though- for people who do buy tickets there are few ferry crossing left now for cars!
