The TITP line up doesn't really interest me that much with the exceptions of Pulp, Weezer and Eels who I've all seen before.

I do think that Rockness needs to up it's game a bit, alot of people will be disappointed Deadmau5 isn't playing (well I assume he isn't playing). Personally i couldn't care about him, he's good but nothing amazing. If they've booked Justice then it would shit all over Deadmau5 IMO.

if justice play it'll be a dj set not live.

nothing to stop them appearing as dj's at all. dont think their new material and light show / crew would be ready for a live appearance yet though. if it was a live show they'd be going all over on full europe / worldwide thing and they've not confirmed for any other gigs or festivals yet anywhere in the world as far as i know.

Agree... The Mau5 would still be nice tho! Hope they don't pawn us off with an LCD Soundsystem or underworld or something. The punters want JUSTICE. He fits the bill... Just give us something to stick in TiTPs pipe!

Dunno why some folk are squealing for Justice to play - or would even consider them a decent addition.

Their sound is well outdated and they haven't done a thing production wise since 2007.

As for Deadmau5 - he's pish. Simple as that.

Rockness was going in the right direction last year booking the likes of Dave Clarke and Green Velvet. Hope we get more respected dance acts of that calibre tomorrow :)

Justice are fantastic live. I do agree it's looking unlikely they'll play, all they've did this year was a DJ set at Field day but I'd happily have them do the same at Rockness.

    • Wednesday is a nice addition imo
    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
