Mogwai would probably end up on the Festival Republic stage. I'd put them on the main stage around 3rd from the top but I'm not Melvin Benn - and if I were, I wouldn't put Mogwai 3rd from top because they'd be better suited on a smaller stage headlining it.

Probably one of the most under rated bands i've ever heard, if the strokes play and mogwai clash i'd probably die. Hopefully they'll be playing on the 'heavy day' but i reckon they'd get the festival republic headline slot, too weird for the average NME stage attendee i think

It would be tough to place such an iconic band, I would say they are much bigger than past FR headliners but I'm not sure if they would get much of a crowd. Would love to see it, although I have never seen them live they still look amazing on video.

Their live album and dvd Special Moves is f**king beast. Mr. Beast

One of my friends was really heavily into Metal when he was younger - well, I say Metal; he wore a Papa Roach hoodie. I played him Mr. Beast for the first time and after about 3 songs (including the amazing Auto Rock) the first thing he asked me was, "where are the words?"

All of them would be great but I would be so grateful if Mogwai play, they are simply the kings. Luckily I have 1 or 2 friends that enjoy post-rock so I'm probably going to see Godspeed this year

Now those friends are people I like
