yes. hence why normally, people at festivals are smelly bastards by the second day.

who's got me? my mum and dad for bringing me up to have a shower daily? if you don't smell with not having a shower, do it today. or tomorrow if you've already had one.

it's nothing to do with advertising. it's to do with sleeping under a duvet for 7 hours, having showered 24 hours ago and my pits not smelling fresh.

you know when you're on a train or a bus, and there's always a smelly bastard? they're the ones that don't shower everyday. and they're probably oblivous to the fact that they're the smelly bastard.

It's been medically proven that it is not good for your immune system to shower every day!

It doesn't make you smelly, you can still wash/use deoderant as required.

Do you think people who are unable to shower/bath daily all instantly smell? What about disabled people, old people, etc who are physically unable to do this? Do they all smell?

What about people who shower/bath at night? Do they smell or is that allowed? :P

I need a shower if I'm going out in part to get myself clean, but also to wake myself up. That, espresso and a smoke is my morning routine.

If I'm not going out, working from home or the week-end, I'll tend to not have a shower and just have a wash.

I so want Den to post in this thread. It'll be all "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhh lad, when I was bairn, we'd have bath in a wrought-iron tub in middle of road once a month and me da would rub us clean with a lump of coal" type bobbins.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
