I was trying to get tickets this morning but had no luck even connecting to the site so didnt even see the que page :/

However!!...

Many thanks to Chaz for getting us some tickets and I now look forward to seeing you all at Glasto next year :)

My question though, is when will the payment be taken out of my account as it hasn't shown up as going out yet and I know the funds are there and available. My debit card has been playing up recently and I dont the transaction to fall through and us loose the tickets. I tried to topup my phone with £20 using my card and had a message saying it had been declined - I then tried topping up with just £5 but again, declined.

Please let me know if I need to worry - hope not!!

And once again, Many thanks to Chaz/Nicola for helping us get our tickets!!

I would imagine that the funds would be 'set aside' by your bank and then taken out tomorrow much the same as a transaction on a Sunday via debit card? This might explain that the funds haven't been taken but your card has been declined eg the glasto transaction is sitting pending on your account? If you have Internet banking you might be able to check?

From the confirmation email:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

You have purchased deposit tickets for Glastonbury 2011 at Worthy Farm, Pilton-Somerset on 24-26 June 2011

You have ordered the following tickets

Reference **** - 2 ONLINE £50 DEPOSIT at £50.00

You have been charged a total of £100.00 and this will appear on your statement as 'EVENT TICKETS 0871 220 0260'

Sales will be processed immediately and your transaction will be completed during the five working days following the sale. For the avoidance of doubt please check your bank/card statement following your transaction/s to be certain whether or not your payment has been successful .Any transaction that results in a charge back or payment dispute will be cancelled. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to pay for the tickets. If your transaction hasn't been processed within 5 working days, contact Seetickets immediately.

You will then have a week in Spring 2011 to pay the remaining balance of £145 per person plus booking and transaction fees.

If you are booking from a UK address you will need to pay your balance from 1-7 April 2011. If you are booking from an International address you will need to pay your balance from 25 February - 3 March 2011.

If you have not paid your balance by the end of your balance payment window, or you decide to cancel your deposit, you will be charged an administration fee of £10.00 and refunded £40.00. You will be sent a reminder email when the deadline is approaching. However, ultimately you are responsible for paying your ticket balance.

Best regards

There should be a difference in the funds available vs the actual funds, or there is in mine (HBOS)? Can't see yoursig a I'm viewing from my iPod, but you should be okay J got the email confirmation I think?

Edit: just check my tinternet banking... none been taken yet but the amount has been 'set aside' ie is no longer in my available funds?

Just checked with my bank, as nothing showing yet on online statement despite having received confirmation email at 9:26 yesterday. Panic attacks that I'd entered card details incorrectly :/ Buit she's just confirmed payment has been authorised, should clear sometime today. PHEW-Y.... reeeeellllllaaaaaaaxxxxx :D I am now officially going to GLASTO 2011, so happy, happy, happy!

For anyone else freaking out - I had a problem with the balance payment for 2010 tickets in Feb this year. Got conf email fine in Jan, but then 4 weeks later See contacted me to tell me that the transaction wasn't successful. Made a second payment over the phone and it went through fine. So, my advice is, check every day with your bank, give it until Wednesday, then if nothing has been taken contact See. They won't automatically cancel your order, but it helps to be proactive in these situations.

I rang see this morning, and after an hour on hold got to speak to someone about the problem ! They said that due to the backlog, no transfers had been completed at all! I explained the situation and the helpfull man on the phone said that if the card has problems of any nature they will ring the phoe number given to ask for alternative means of payment and that the tickets would not be automatically cancelled :-) que relief and smiley faces all round !!!!!!!!

STRUMMER77

I rang them on 0870 264 333 option 2 I believe was about enquiries about tickets already purchased then option 3 I think about payment queries ! Then waited about an hour before I got an answer on hold ;-) hope this may help calm many fear out there ;-)
