i got 15 quid from betting on celtic at 1-0 up. was suprised by the kind odds. should have put it on at 3/1 after the break then, was clear celtic were winning it.

then i shoved 5 of the winnings on villa to keep the lead at chelsea. who obviously never.

I was doing ok today

had over 2.5 goals at 23/20 in the Fullham game (3-0)

and then bet some womens tennis in play, backed S Halep at 33/1 when she was down a set, she ends up winning 2nd set 4-0 up in 3rd ..I layed some off on betfair at 4/11

Sure enough the other girl retires ..f***

my bet at Paddypower = void as player retired

Betfair lay stands

leaving me 150 down from having 20 quid on a 33/1 that's now trading at 4/11 :(

I'm always a bit wary with matched betting, for a while I was doing it free bets off various betting sites. I had my qualifing bet of £50 on some Greek second divison game whilst laying £90-odd on Betfair when the game gets stopped 70 mins due to bad weather with the game going to get finished in two days time, the bookie voided the bet whilst it still stood at betfair, although my bet on betfair was coming up with the being a draw it was a long two days....

    • You do get some weird swings here and there, so... Cypress Hill?
    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
