Dongle question

The Dongle. Can I put a T Mobile sim card into a Vodaphone dongle?

Is it the sim card that does all the business or is there something in the dongle itself that "makes it work".

Thanks

O LORDY MAMA, my dearest O LORDY MAMA... I`ve spilled me beans on me troos... I`ve got one on Ra Ra Ra rabeeeeeedo!

The T Mobile dongle... you just slide a cover back to reveal the Sim card..just like a phone.

However, I`ve just inspected the Vodaphone dongle and its a sealed unit.

The reason I was asking is that my T dongle is slightly broken in that the bit that goes into the USB slot... the stopper that allows said bit to go in and out has snapped... so it`s difficult to actaully insert it into the USB slot without a faff on. I`ve had to tape it up.

So, as i was getting a vodaphone dongle..i thought i might be able to transfer the sim.

Make sense?

Thanks for the replies.

My vodafone dongle has a SIM that can be removed, so its worth checking yours again! Having said that, the dongle is probably locked like most mobile phones are. Still, there's no harm in giving it a go once you get the t-mobile one anyway.

Eeeee well, yer bugger a hell. Just had a more detailed inspection of th Vodaphone dongle---and yes, the sim does come out in a Joe 90 type way.

Very ingenious.Just slides into a slot near the end which enters the USB port.

Ra ra ra ra rabeeeeeeeedo... I thought I`d explained.

I had a vodaphone dongle..15 snots a month. Then went over to T mobile.

But, the T dongle is slightly broken as i described before...so i was wondering if i could just put the working T mobile sim into the Vodaphone dongle.

Now I`ve got em --- i`m a bit scared that it might knack it up if i try it.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
