not really that surprised or bothered that paije went. i think cher probably ended up in the bottom two because of cheryl acting like a complete c**t on saturday. she probably lost some votes because people are finally starting to see cheryl for what she is, and the best way to annoy her is to not vote for mini cheryl.

surprised katie got through, all the wee things they do to influence the votes and keep her in obviously worked..

i was just thinking though about matt. didn't someone recently buy his bands album from itunes? this being the same matt who is a struggling painter and decorator still living with his folks? something doesn't quite add up there for me...

matt maybe hasn't, but before the live shows he was always talking about how embarrassing it was to still be living with his folks at 28 or whatever he is. yet he kept bloody mentioning it in the interviews for the show. whether he was told to or not is another thing.

as i say though, maybe looking too much into it. i just cannae be arsed with him anymore over these 'supossed rants'. which would appear to have some substance based on what i hear about the xtra factor. who knows though...

you're right rachel, it is completely influenced, no doubt about it.

but for me she was by far the best on saturday. by quite some way. paije was great for the first half, but he really lost it towards the end for me. i suppose mary was good, but the arrangement just made me discount her. shirleys fault though, not hers. cher tried far too hard to overcomplicate what is a simple song. she mariahed all over it. one direction were awrite again, nae beef with them.

perhaps, but either way she more than deserved to stay.

matt was average i thought. forgettable performance. rebecca was really really poor though. and is, like aiden was, a one trick pony. she'd better hope the next couple of themes suit her else she could be leaving it a two horse race.

i don't believe anything i hear about the voting figures. hasn't the bottom two been "leaked" in advance the past few weeks and it's been wrong?

i haven't even considered wagner when predicting my top 4, he's still not been in the bottom two though, despite loads of bad stories about him and standing up to the nations sweetheart (boke!)...wanger in the final would be amazing!

    • Just watched Annie Lennox at Wilderness Festival as part of her global feminist The Circle initiative. She curated the 2 hour slot with special guests including Jessie Ware and then did  a 1/2 hour slot singing her and Eurythmics hits at the end. Her voice is amazing still and I am convinced she would do an amazing set on Sunday afternoon. She even wore a jacket with a sparkling CND symbol on the back! It’s a sign!!
    • 1. Jack White - Frozen Charlotte 2. Buffalo Traffic Jam - Pictures Of You 3. The Rolling Stones - Foreign Tongues
    • Is it one of those bollocks things where ones is a festival and the other would be a show lol
    • Hello,   I have no idea what the answer is to your question, but wish you well in your quest for information.
    • Yes, I was asking about comedy, and also it seems odd that after bringing it back last year, the Seaside Stage seems to have gone again. Probably why Massaoke (basically a big karaoke sing-along) is now on the Castle Stage. But on all three days?! Does all seem a little desperate this year, though hopefully I will be proved wrong. Still think the Mary Wallopers fiasco has probably put a lot of artists off performing at Victorious, hence the reduction in stages and acts appearing... One of the best things about Victorious in the early days was its value for money compared to some of the other bigger festivals, but this certainly not the case anymore...
