Your Essentials

Dynamo torch, a variety of lager ( as opposed to just sticking with one brand), pro plus or them energy shots, all essentials kept at a bare minumum just so it's easier to cope with.

Also, go to Boots and get a pack of paracetamol with codeine and caffiene. No matter how bad a hangover you have, two of these will have it gone in an hour.

-take more money, running out midday saturday in 08 wasn't good.

-take a tent and put tent up before drinking.

-more alcohol, you will not have enough, ever.

-blow up doll, so that you can make sexy noises and look like you pulled.

-don't take clothes they are a waste of space, replace with sex doll and drugs.

Shorts. Ignore the weather report, if its a hot day and you only have jeans you shall melt, 1 pair of shorts minimum (more if this heat keeps up).

Not just beer, but some spirits will be a nice change, vodka + energy drink.

LOTS of lighters + Rizla, they will always get wet. Even if it doesnt rain.

Megaphone.

Twister.

Music of some sort - cheap cd player/acoustic guitar

Pheromones to attract the pretty ladies to your camp without having to move.

1 zebra, 3 monkeys and a inflatable pirate ship. Use your imagination.

Hedgehog hunting kit.

More ket, less crack ;)

ASDA Petrov Vodka pouches, £5 each for 350ml, ideal for sneaking in and refillable

a DECENT trolley made up of the following as a minimum, steel frame, pneumatic tyres and wheels with bearings. if your planning on taking a little pissy aluminium/plastic framed effort with pissy little plastic wheels save yourself the hassle and just snap a wheel off and bin it now cos it wil only last 2 mins loaded up with drink

plenty of rolls of tape, and a roll of clingfilm (for the trolley)

berocca, nutrigrains, hairibo and plenty of water (to cure a hangover)

emergency disposable ponchos (50p from ebay now, or £5 at the festival and they are small and conveinient)

1/4 oz of cocaine (means you can survive on only 2 hours sleep per night which = more fun times)

some Diazepam (if you have gone a bit mental on the drugs and cannot sleep and are staring at the tent roof sweating when you really need a kip)

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
    • Taxi mafia running their usual scam.
