djnadim: I'm just organising place for efest folk/folk on their own to camp together. I'm not providing any facilities!! I'm nae that nice...get your arse to asda or tesco and can pick up a tent for less than a tenner. Or if you really want to push the boat out I think asda have a 2 man pop up for £12.50 just now

smiley flag

the flag I'll be marking our pitch with is the above. Just ordered it with a 5metre pole, so hopefully can't miss it

I am defo up for this camping zone, ADD ME TO THE LIST! how will you be able to reserve so much camping space for us all to pitch? What time will the shuttle bus arrive at Creamfields? I was planning on getting there at like 7am as I live close! It's a great idea dude, I really hope it happens as it will make me feel alot safer knowing I'm pitched next to people on the same wavelength.

It does say on all the info Creamfields sends that sound systems aren't allowed but I bet there will be plenty on the camp site, its a risk taking one I would have thought.

Any of you guys know what the likely cost of food/drink will be? First festival we've been too so I've got no idea, we are defo up for camping with you guys so we wont be dropping out or not turning up :)

think it said no soundsystems at rock ness and there were plenty. seemed to be some at creamfields last year too. don't worry about it though, sure we'll survive without one. Like all festivals drinks are pricey £3+ a bottle etc. Just load up in the campsite before you go into the arena. Don't know about food...I foolishly didn't eat last year. Will make an effort to do so this year to avoid pain later on. might just take a few mars bars multipacks

I tried to force down a bacon roll on the sunday morning, but it really wasn't happening, my body wasn't allowing for any of it, threw it away after 2 bites. £3.50 or something with no marg or ketchup on offer. Much yumness!!!!!!

    • Too good for the legends slot
    • We had a really good weekend this year. This was our 2nd year after giving it a go last year with 3 year old twins (we do Glasto but don't take the kids and have no plans to in the distant future!!).   Highlights of the weekend for me was Peter Hook & the Light, English Teacher, Flaming Lips, Adult DVD and Alex James (I get the karaoke thing but I still thought it was great). Missed loads of acts we wanted to see due to having two kids in tow but overall we left happy with what we managed to see across the weekend. Some great food vendors, good to see Steak Frites make an appearance this year, one of my faves from Glasto. Festival is really well run, toilets remained clean and stocked with loo roll all weekend, even on Sunday night/Monday morning. The walk from the cars is a ballache but it is what it is, arriving Thursday evening meant we were parked as far away as you could be.   My only gripe is that there seems to be a trend of parents letting their teenagers camp completely separately to them in family camping. We had a large group of 15-17 year olds near us who came home pissed up every evening at 3-4am being really loud and annoying! I get that it's a festival etc but I think it's taking the piss a bit letting your kids camp separately and disrupt everyone else.   All in all we had a really good time and are looking forward to next year.
    • Haha, was about to say! I'd def put more stock in the exit poll than a sh*t joke on Bluesky. Thanks for panicking me though. 😁
    • f**k! "Susan Hall" Jesus. Ok, calm down.
