Spare glasto shoulder bag

Hi all

I get a shoulder bag from the festival each year but somehow managed to miss them this year.

I would rather take a spare one from someone and make a donation to charity rather than line the pockets of those flogging them on ebay!

So of anyone has a spare one they would like to give up for a donation to charity then let me know.

Cheers

Apologies for the hijack, but I don't suppose anyone has a Guardian bag they don't need do they? I totally failed in my plan to get one this year:rolleyes:

I'll happily send a big SAE for it, obviously!

They ran out of bags by Saturday. At least all the paper shops I visited had. I wanted to get a few extra this year as they are quite useful and were quite a nice design. I can usually pick up a few which are disguarded on Monday but everyone seem to tidy up after themselves this year :(

I wonder if paper sales suffered due to them running out of bags. I know I bought at least one less newspaper than I would have done.

I have a spare guardian bag if anybody wants it, tried to pm Green Fairy but wouldn't let me. I finish work tomorrow for a couple of weeks, so pm me with your address and I will send it.

If anyone needs one of the cloth bags that were given away on the way in then give me a shout as I have a spare i'm more than happy to stick in the post

Also... if anyone has a spare Saturday Q daily then i'd be really grateful. I love collecting memorabillia... unfortunately my dozy hubby decided it would be better suited being used to start the campfire! D'oh!!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
