The vibe for Avalanches was spectacular, but i totally understand not wanting to wait in a queue for however long it was. I had to miss Ethel Cain to queue. Bit annoying, but I had never seen the Avalanches before (either live or DJ set) and it was every bit as joyful as I hoped. Great little stage, either way. -

When I was growing up I used to walk through a farmers field to my mates house. Then the farmer sold the land and some houses were built on it. My route was blocked by these houses, so rather than use the new public footpath that had been put in, I just walked the same route that I always had done and walked straight through the living room of the new house. Cos f**k everyone else, I’m that important.
